The Death Mountain Hermit says, Keepin' Time
Thu, Jan 24, 2008 - 2:33pm EST

Huh, whaddya know, I've been saying it was Daylight Saving Time these past couple months, when in fact it's been Standard the whole time. Hm. America really oughtta just do away with it. I wonder if anyone out there in Internet Land could (and would) tell me whom-in-our-government I should write about fixing such things. And speaking of which, who are you people? I see that people actually come and visit my site, but I don't know who or why. Wanna get in touch with me and let me know? (I know I don't (yet?) post contact info on this site, but let's face it, I'm not that hard to find, and chances are if you found this site then you already have some sort of way to contact me anyway. Call it a fun li'l game. Wanna play? heehee)

Not much going on site-wise this time. Just updating ontime in order to do so. Life's been a little odd. Ups and downs. Struggles. Pressing on. You know, life. I've been playing Final Fantasy lately, which some friends lent me. "Which one?" No, Final Fantasy, no numbers or subtitles, the first one Square made for the NES circa two decades ago. It's fun. Even without the instruction manual. $8^ | When I saw I'm the "LIGHT WARRIORS" I figured no Black Mage or Thief, and went for a party of Red Mage, White Mage, Black Belt, Fighter, named Quiji (Quji), Lyla (Lyla), Sensei (Snse), and Fort (Fort). If I ever beat it, I'm considering ripping on my own role-playing and doing a party of Black Mage Black Mage Black Mage Thief named Backstab, Pain, Death, and Pilfer (Bstb, Pain, Deth, Plfr). LIGHT WARRIORS! $:^ P However, the four-White-Mage challenge looks pretty fun, too. It'd be nice to go through it using every combination available (*quick calculations* wow some 162-plus-a-few-more-combo-numbers-I-didn't-want-to-crunch) but of course I actually have important things in life to do!

For instance, a desk that I bought brand new for an extremely good price (surprising even the people in the stores), and had to go semi-out-of-town just to get it because in-town it kept selling out before I could get one; problem is, I haven't coincided tools and time yet to be able to build this thing, assuming I still want to try with only one person when it says it requires two. Hmmm.

Other than that, I'm having some of the most difficult time obtaining some Bible software for Linux. Anyone wanna help me out there? I can find stuff related to "The SWORD Project" but as usual can't find anything conclusive. Like a MOTHER 3 ROM. I own the game. If/When the unofficial translation patch is released, I'd love to be able to legally play my Japanese game in English! But I can't secure a ROM! Let alone find a conclusive package for a GBA emulator on Linux. (Why won't Nintendo just go ahead and localize the thing themselves?) Well. Anyway. My point was that I've spent a bunch of time trying to get some Linux (Debian/sidux/KDE) software like a searchable multitranslation Greek-Hebrew-Strong's etc. kind of digital Bible, and I even found a bunch of different packages from official pages on SourceForge, but to no completion, no avail--and if anyone would like to help, (even with something purchasable if I must,) there might be a cookie in it for you! Thanks much if you do.

And tell me who you are for once!
