The Death Mountain Hermit says, Behind The Scenes

I've done a couple things in the background. I actually created a niftyish favicon, but I've forgotten exactly how to implement that, so maybe next time it'll just kind of *poof* unceremoniously appear with the update. I've worked a nice little chunk in my Q'n'A; it's not uploaded at all, so if you go visit that page, it'll still be rather obsolete; I'm just working on it in the background is all.

Really, though, I've been just busy busy busy. I've barely played any videogames. I downloaded and enjoyed Virtanen's Kaipuu, and I played some Brawl three out of the four weekends this month at some friends' house. I even squeezed in a couple hours of Pokémon Blue Version while doing laundry and to help me get to sleep. But otherwise, nope, haven't really even worked on my own projects. No music really at all. Fixed a whole bunch in my Calculator one week, and haven't really touched otherwise. Oh, one night, I installed an old TatsuSoft game and played through a bunch of it. But see like, another night I started up The Legend of Zelda, walked around a screen or two, and just .. turned it off. I haven't even touched my American McGee's Alice yet, and that was one of the nudging reasons I really wanted a Windows machine again. In semi-related news, after nine years, I finally saw Sleepy Hollow as directed by Tim Burton! But yeah, between taxes and spiritual warfare and more taxes and trying to install a whole bunch of fixes for my computer and just *whoo* lots and lots of paperwork ... yeah ramble ramble lost my point anyway you get the idea maybe possibly. Moving on.

I've worked on my tU logo, mainly drawing on cups during waiting moments on the job. I've seen now that Noteworthy Composer is not necessarily going to do what I want it to, and thus I'll probably just see if I can't eventually buy and upgrade Anvil Studio to work similarly (and in certain ways much better I hope).

I have too many unfinished videogame files, mainly on other people's games and systems. Maybe one day. Until then, I do have bigger fish to fry.

This must be about the utterly sloppiest update I've made yet. Sorry 'bout that.

Y'know what? It's dissuading to try to build a proper Links page when the main location I work on my website is not at all connected to the Internet. Food for thought.
