The Death Mountain Hermit says, BUSY!

Before the tent meeting started, I managed to fix my Calculator to the point that it officially has no bugs! Now, I realize there's a minor rounding issue at times, but this is GML's fault, and quite possibly C/C++'s fault (according to Python documentation, C/C++ has issues with turning binary to floating point decimals, so 3 + 5 might actually = something like 8.000000006, go figure), and although I suppose I could fix it by individually handling every single digit with its own chunk of code, ... no. I don't care that much. Uh-uh. But in the meantime, I know of no other bugs, I hope no others are found to've crawled in, and in another week or however-long I'll get back to making it a little more graphically pleasing. End topic.

Tent stuff is going ridiculously well. I think of Gideon and his three hundred vs. the multitudes like grasshoppers, Judges 7:22. It's almost like our current battle is too easy -- but we know it's nothing special on our part, we're just following the simple pattern lain out for us in the New Testament (with awesome illustrations of its principles in the Old Testament). I had a blast singing singing singing with a couple families who came in from Texas to help with the tent; I'd never before heard the songs they brought, so I was just copying best I could as we went; (weird thing: I've never understood how some people can imitate choreography, like a tapdance or something, while they're seeing it for the first time, but apparently, (so the Texans pointed out to me,) I have a certain amount of this ability in picking up songs as I go -- um, wow? huh;) I now know two spiritual songs that I won't be able to sing with anyone locally (unless I can teach them, too), but it's nice to be able to sing them by myself, and it's also a pleasant reminder of working with them (knocking doors, building each other up through hymns and all eating together, etc.). "Good times." $:^ J

I told a couple friends the other day, "You two'd be proud of me: In the course of three days, I met, approached, and got rejected. Alright." They spoke simultaneously, one laughing and saying something like, "Well, good for you!" the other smiling and declaring, "Wooot. Nerd party!" $:^ b Of course it was unpleasant at first, but it seems everything indirectly worked out to the good well beyond what I first imagined. (Now the only question is, who all's reading this? Hmmmmm. heheheheh)

On a much more complicated level, I believe one lady friend of mine and I are on our way unto hammering out some awkwardness between us. Wherever it leads, good bad neutral, I'll accept it.

Before the tent, I worked on my Q'n'A page a lot. I might be halfway through with it now. Hard to tell, what with new things I'm adding, old things I'm wiping, and various things I'm reorganizing. I do hope to be finished with it for the July update. Until then, have fun!
